Gunsmoke Lodge is the perfect place for your next hunting adventure. With access to over 40,000 acres in Central, Northern, and Eastern Maine, we are able to take full advantage of the state’s high black bear population. Among these areas are farmlands, lakes and logging roads that offer opportunities to harvest large trophy bucks and moose. We offer guided moose hunts in zones 14, 9, 4, 10, 11, and 18 to eligible permit holders.
Looking for a getaway? Gunsmoke Lodge also offers cabin rentals! —Located about 30 miles Northwest of Bangor, we are well equipped to handle hunters and vacationers alike. With access to connecter trails, it makes it easy for snowmobilers and ATV enthusiasts to easily ride to Moosehead Lake, Greenville, Millinocket, and Houlton.
We are located within easy driving distance of the Appalachian Trail, Baxter State Park, Schoodic and Pushaw Lakes, Gulf Hagas, Peaks Kenny Beach, and much more! Whether you're looking for a beautiful view for a hike, time to spend on the open water, or to just relax with nature, this area couldn't be more perfect.
